Four steps to your dream garden

Step 1: The consultation

The first step is for us to meet and talk through your garden requirements. You’ll probably have had some thoughts about how you want your garden to look and I’ll be able to bring my expertise to you to develop a ‘brief’ that works for you.

Step 2: The design

If you like my initial ideas, I will visit you to survey your garden; this involves measuring up checking where trees, paths and existing flowers are and usually takes around half a day. Once this is completed, I will then produce the first design of your new garden.

Step 3: Design meeting and detailed drawings

We’ll meet up and I’ll present the design and my ideas to you. If you like the design and want to make your new garden a reality, I will prepare detailed drawings for you. You may also need Planting Plans and Construction Drawings so that whoever does the work will know exactly what to do.

Step 4: The construction

You may want to do the work yourself; employ a landscaper to do it for you or you may ask me to get the work done on your behalf. I will talk through all the options in detail with you and make sure that what we decide is the best solution for you.

If you’d like me to get the work done for you, I’ll supervise all the work and contractors and give you regular updates as to when the work will be finished. I’ll also be there to make sure the work progresses smoothly and lives up to your expectations. At the end of this stage, you’ll have a beautiful garden to be proud of.
