Your Dream Garden
Consultation & Brief
You’ll probably have had some thoughts about how you want your garden to look and together we will discuss your wish list and develop a ‘brief’ that works for you.
2. Survey & Design
Once we have agreed on our initial ideas, I will survey your garden in detail, checking the position of trees, terraces, paths and flowerbeds. I’ll also map changes of level if necessary. The whole process usually takes around a day. I can then draw up my initial design suggestions for your new garden.
3. Detailed Scale Drawings
We’ll meet up and I’ll present the design and my ideas to you. If you like the design and want to make your new garden a reality, I will prepare detailed drawings for you. These may include Planting Plans and Construction Drawings and they will ensure that whoever does the work will know exactly what to do.
4. Building Your Garden
I will discuss all the options and relevant costs in detail with you so that we can find the best solution for you. You may want to do the work yourself, employ a separate contractor or ask me to undertake the project. In this case, I’ll appoint reliable contractors and give you regular progress checks on the work. I’ll also be there to make sure everything goes smoothly and lives up to your expectations. At the end of this stage, you will have a beautiful garden that you can be proud of.
